Acrylics Still-Life Painting – Fruits in the Sunlight

Still-Life Painting with fruits in Sunlight

I enjoy create still-life painting and art even though I used to dislike it, since it was the only thing we could do at the graphics class. But I like to search for complicated still-life photography on the Internet and try each one of them. This time I chose a still-life composed of fruits, leaves and a nice metal vase. I loved how the light is filtered by the blinds and falls over the fruits on the table.

It’s an unusual composition and I enjoy playing with peculiar shadows and highlights.
The composition contains apples, mandarins, pears, grapes and leaves next to a metallic water vase. The lights comes in trough the closed blinds on the fruits placed on the table.
This painting is suitable for living-rooms, but especially for kitchen or dinning areas. This is my recommendation. Another still-life painting that I worked on is the Peonies Painting and some other that I will add in the next period.

In the above image, you can witness a small corner of my bedroom, which happens to be also my art studio. Someday I hope I will be able to rent a place and use it as a studio or build a studio in my home. I use a tripod to paint and a large wood plank when I paint on paper or unframed canvas.

Here is the place where I get all my ideas and plans. I believe I will be very sad when I will have to move, even if I don’t have much space here to work, it’s still where my dream started. 🙂

Thank you for reading.
